It was in1994 that I saw a something called home page on Internet first time. I remember as I searched some USA website by using free browser for Macintosh. That browser was Mosaic, or not? AS I interested regarding studying law at that time, I remember that I devoted myself to search law reports on website of Stanford University or  Federal Court of USA.

Many valuable information was kept there, every one could freely download them from there. It took several weeks to get a small amount of document in those days, but I could get them for one night or tow nights(as I was working in the daytime) by using Internet. It was a making a deep impression for me. It was a shocking surprise, too. I started making my home page on Internet taking advantage of this Excitement and shock.

Photograph is one of pictures which I took at COMDEX(in Las Vegas) Conference in 1999. I took a picture that Various shaped personal computers were displayed for a demonstration of several computer frame makers. I had a chance to go to COMDEX, so I visited there every year from 1994 and I saw the historical changing of COMDEX. COMDEX was became  a spiritless　conference that I could not feel a passion from around that time.

インターネット上ではじめてホームページを 見たのは、１９９４年のことであった。
たぶん、フリーのマック用ブラウザ（モザイ クだったかな？）を使って、ＵＳＡのサイト を検索したように記憶している。そのころは、 法律にも興味のあった時だったので、 スタンフォード大学の法学部や、連 邦裁判所の判例集を検索しまくったことを覚えている。

そこには、ぼくにとって貴重な資料がた くさん保管されており、自由にダウンロード できるようになっていた。そのころは、ちょっ とした文献を集めるのに数週間もの時間を要 していたのだが、インターネットだと、ものの１ 晩か２晩（昼間は仕事なので）で終了したのであった。
ものすごい感動であった。衝撃的でもあった。 この感動と衝撃をきっかけに、自分のホームページ を作るようになったのである。

写真は、１９９９年ＣＯＭＤＥＸ（ラスベガス）での一枚。 ケースメーカーのデモンストレーションとして、いろいろな形状のパソコンが多数展示してあったところをパチリ。
ＣＯＭＤＥＸには、１９９４年くらいからほぼ毎年のように見に行く機会があって、その歴史的な変化も見てきた。 しかしこの前後から、当時の活気の欠片も感じられないくらい低調なコンファレンスになってきた。
